Single Session Therapy

I wanted to introduce you to a service that I offer called Single Session Therapy. Not many people know about this type of therapy and assume that counselling involves many visits over weeks or months. In certain circumstances one session is all that is needed with no obligation to have any further. The intention is to ideally help you in literally one session. Having said this, there is opportunity to have more sessions if you feel you need them outside of this meeting. Who would this benefit? You may feel that you don’t ‘need’ counselling but something doesn’t feel right or it can be useful if you have an important decision to make, wanting to talk it through with someone impartial and non-judgemental. It can also be a gentle introduction to counselling if you are unsure or want to try. This brief session therapy works if you have an issue which could benefit focusing on a solution rather than the problem. It is a great tool to help those who suffer with anxiety, depression and could benefit from building on strengths rather than focusing on limitations.
